What do i love about photography. Well there's alot of things i love. One thing i love is that there is no wrong....You like it shoot it...you have total creative control over what your final product looks like. And the best thing is that it's your creation and it's what you wanted to see so there is no wrong. It's freeing to know that you can create anything and express yourself anyway you want and it's ok. The other thing i love about photography is that when things are bleak and dark you can always look back at the happy times. In a photography you can capture an emotion and relive that emotion for the rest of your life: Happy, Sad, Hurt! It is a way to me to be able to capture moments of my life and always be able to have that whether it's remembering a good time for the fun we had or the bad times for the lessons learned a photograph is always there to remind you!!!

Well I did a photoshoot with my brother and his son recently and I love the results. I am still working through the shots but overall I was pleased with how they are coming out. This was a great learning experience as it was my first 'shoot' where I posed the people and actually got to setup the shots as I wanted to. So far 2009 is going well for me and I feel as though my photography skills are growing leaps and bounds. With each shoot and with each new experience I am learning more and more that I can apply to my next shoot. Thanks to everyone's support and :+favs:. How all is going well for everyone else. Well it is officially 2009 and my new years resolution was to improve my photography each and every day. I would like to do something each day that helps me reach my goal whether it's learning something new from a tutorial or doing a photoshoot and learning how to do a new technique! I would hope that everyone's goal is to improve and I can hardly wait to share my new photography projects and I can harly wait to see what you all post!

Well as 2008 comes to a close we must all reflect on the ups and downs of the previous year. As I look back at all the struggles I have had and remember how difficult those times were at the time now I realize that they were just a learning experience and that I am a better, stronger person because of it. Sometimes we have a hard time being positive in the moment of difficulties but I just have to try to take a moment and remember that this will pass soon enough but the lessons to be learned will be with me forever. As 2009 draws close I say bring on the struggles and bring on the lessons to be learned!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR to all and may all your hopes and dreams come true!!!!

Yesterday afternoon my little brother became a daddy. He was the first one on my side of the family to have children so we are all sooooooo excited!!! I didn't want to use a flash on a newborn that was only a few hours old so the shot of him was taken at very high ISO, like 1600, so it is a bit grainy but I can't wait to do some well lighted portraits of the family after the new year!! Congratulations Tim and Sarah we all love you and we are here if you need anything!!! Man I am so excited!!!!!
